Choices choices choices, Habu 32x upgrade
Goo day everyone,
I am looking to upgrade and there are just so many choices out there. And I have seen several comments in different threads on someone using this one or someone recommending that one. So, please help and throw in your two cents.
Here are the options I am looking at.
Jetfan 80 HET 700-60 series motor
or with a jetfan alloy, HET motor 8s setup
Stumax 80 8s setup - 1485kv motor
TJ80 8s setup - Evo 1409 - CC 100 amp (or evo 1509)
I find it hard to declare which is truly better, I hear people rave about each fan unit (TJ, Jetfan & Stumax). Any other 80mm units out I should consider?
I am not only looking to upgrade from stock speed (and sound) but also reliability, something that last and is reliable in the air. As well as something very close to form, fit, function to where I do not have to do modifications or cutting during the install.

There are other choices too, and with the USD so strong right now you can get a CNC machined alloy 80mm with your choice of rotor and motor at about the best price around. Going by what other customers have paid through their CC conversion you would be looking around USD260 for a combo ready to install.
EXTREME 80mm Alloy Wemo combos
EXTREME 80mm Alloy Jetfan combos
The Wemo PRO rotor and Jetfan rotor are the only two I would consider for performance, the PRO sounds good in the alloy housing when properly balanced and provides very good performance on 8 cells, 98A and 2800w.
I think I have sold mostly this setup with the 700-60-1865 motor. The JF rotor also runs nicely on this motor, pulls a few more amps though at around 110. Dropping down to the 1738Kv motor brings the JF amps back to around 90-95.
