Are you sure that wasn't a dream and your still asleep typing!

Maybe a new name for you should be "Darth Dream Flyer"

Anyway congratulations. I cant even keep my electrics up that long. Even if I launched to 1500 ft and shut the motor off I would be back on the ground in five minutes. Call me "King Sink Flyer".

But I know how to overcome that sink problem, because I'm about to build a Yardbird. Look out thermals, here I come.

OK... What's up with you guys? I have heard nothing about these models in a while. I thought some of you had kits. I am actually enjoying mine. Today was amazing. I was short launching at the Weatherford field and getting about 150' for initial altitude. The vultures and hawks seem to have started migrating through so I had plenty of markers... I flew the Duet only twice and got an hour and a half of flight time. It was very enjoyable, and included a save from 20'. I flew the Xploder, too. I got over 2 hours flight time on that one... with battery charging and flying the Duet between the Xploder flights. If you're sitting on one of these kits, you're missing some nice flying... and I don't even like 2-meter models...

Jack,
Still flying the one I built, mostly on days that a high start gets used, not enough people to put up a winch. Still a great flyer, especially low altitude thermals near the ground, gives you a work out.
Mine is thr met. red and b,ack one tagged on end of your build.

Thermals,
Ross
Did m
Mark sell all the initial kits ??

Mark, I am interested in another kit. I want to electrify it, as I don't have access to a flying field to use my high start with my original plane. I have hand tossed it, but alas, I am NOT Darth whats-his-name with the hour and half hand toss!!!!

Hey Jack, nothing derogatory intended!! You still RULE!!

Phoebus,

I have two sets of laser parts so I can put a kit in the box quickly. Just order through my website.

Thanks

Another question for Mark....

Sorry to barge in with this:

-Mark, do you have any of the Zephyr II's ready to sell?

(I really like both the Duet and Zephyr, pretty cool planes!)

Thanks - Paul
