820mm and only 120g ?!?
Anthony,
Il n'y a rien mal avec votre anglais ! ![]() ( I wish my French was as good ! )You model looks GREAT - C'est magnifique ! ![]() Is ALL that foam 3mm depron ? I like the longer models with lines that look similar to the larger engine-powered pattern models. The F3P models I have lately been designing have similar proportions... ![]() Your closed-loop ailerons are VERY impressive - similar to how the Fokker E-III wings were warped - but with fewer pylons ! ![]() What are you using for your closed loop 'cables' ? Can you adjust their tension ? Keven.

Anthony,
In England, "Jubilee Clips" are what are used to hold water pipes to the engine and radiator under a car bonnet... ![]() What you have are referred to here in the UK as 'crimped cables'. Thank you for the information... Where can I get some Climapor ? A Google search returns very little of any use... ![]() Have you an internet address for the shop where you got that which you are using ? Keven.

Anthony,
I was wondering about the thickness of the foam that you have used - it looks to me to be 3mm. That light weight ( moins du poids ? ) is excellent - for 3mm depron - and so it is not a surprise you have used something else... ![]() Keven.

Anthony,
Thanks for the pointers... I searched again... using "Extrupor". Only Czech websites with vague references to 6mm - and car rentals... ![]() I have lots of different foams - but neither of those you named. I think I'll try something with 2mm depron - for now... Keven.

Anthony,
What is the CG you are using on the plane in the video. Looks like a winner! This will be my next F3P build. Also wanted to know if you are using any 3mm x .05mm flat carbon on the trailing edge, or any kind of spar besides the underwing bracing? What size CF is used for the wings? Thanks for the design. Mini Ifo,
I think CG is a personal choice, to have a neutral behaviour 27-28cm (10,6"-11") from the nose is a good start. For wings I use only 1mm carbon rods as you can see on photos. Many plans have been downloaded, I hope that you are not the only one to begin building. Anthony |
