MXS 60"" or EXTRA 300 60'' EF ?

Hi
Among the planes EF, I hesitate between MXS 64 "and the EXTRA 300 60 '' ...
But I do not know which to choose!
Which do you take to 3D aggressive?
Thank you for your opinion.
Best Regards
Stef

Hello!
I chose the MXS 62 ', and I received it. The building is beautiful and very light.
I do not regret!
I put standard size servos, it was necessary that I magnifies housing, and that I just strengthens (fixation)
I have 3 3300 mAh Lipo 6S, YEP 120 LV, the Torque engine under EF, and a propeller 15x7 wood xoar.
It should fly this weekend if all goes well!

Best regards
Stef

I've flown both (owned the MXS and Edge) I'd go with the extra over the MXS, it's a little more stable in Harrier, the MXS is a bit more violent (in a good way). Depends on how you fly. The edge is actually my fav for harrier/hover. The MXS pop tops really well, the extra flies like an extra, awesome.

Buy all three!

Both harrier well but the Edge definitely does it better.

I have an 64" MXS and I have 9 flights on it. I've only had it for two days, that tells you something my vote is the MXS

For those struggling to get a good harrier going, check out The New Sport Pilot's Guide To 3d and hopefully that will give you a little help.

Also, a spoileron mix really helps tame harrier flight down. I run a 25% mix because it also comes in handy during extreme aerobatics, but you could turn it down to 10% or so and it really smoothes things out. Put it on a switch so if you don't like it you can just flip it off. Don't be afraid to try new things, especially if they can help you.

Laser EXP__The Spoileron Files

While the Edge is the undisputed harrier king of the EXP lineup, the 60" Yak is not that far behind at all, and neither is the Laser. The 48" EXPs each have a pretty distinctive personality, but the 60s are much more closely matched.

Hello!

I tested the MXS Sunday and I made the first flight with the setup of the record (centering on the wing joiner, rudder deflections of 2 flight conditions (normal and 3D).
I loved flying, with several landing and takeoff.
Very docile airplane, very spectacular figures!
I know ... The plane was so docile that I attacked 3D now!

But the second flight (with another lipo), the motor (TORQUE expected) stopped turning after 2 minutes, as if the controller (YEP 120 LV) had cut ...
Result ripped the train ... munched hood, and 2 holes in the wings!

It is almost fixed, and I ordered a 80A AIRBOSS to replace the YEP because I have my doubts about this one ...
My Lipos are new (6S TURNIGY Nanotech 3300 mAh).

I long to return the flight, as this is the best plane I've ever had!

I will test the spoileron mixing as soon as possible!

Thank you for all these opinions on aircraft EXTREME FLIGHT here in France they are not very popular!

I would have said stay away from YEP if I had known. I lost my new green MXS after only a few flights with one of those. Now I use Castle and Turnigy exclusively with nary a problem.

My vote is for the Extra, but it's only based on looks. The MXS is a fantastic plane also. Someday, an Edge will be in my collection.

I am considering purchasing an EF 60 inch plane. I've been flying my 48 inch edge 3dhs for the last 3 years and enjoy it a lot. Looking for something bigger now. I have my eyes on the Yak 54. So which 60 inch EF planes do you all recommend and how does the Yak compare to them? Also how much can I expect to spend on a recommended setup?
