Esc and Graupner Hott?

Anyone know of 150A+ esc that talks directly with the Graupner telemetry?

Dude,

Anny ESC will work, you just need an Electric module http://www.graupner.de/en/products/33610/product.aspx between esc and Batt.

Notice that this unit is for 40/60A and 30v...

Hope they can release a bigger version soon.

André

Not a good idea with current ESC processors. The more the ESC has to do the more likely it is to go on fire, just like me!
Unless we start to get them with 4 core ARM chips in, then they can phone you as well.
Also for competition no one will believe un-testable built in software.

Since I run with HOTT, I have also been looking for a solution to this.
Unfortunately I have not found any speed controller which is directly compatible with HOTT telemetry. Not a answer to Your question but one solution that I looked at was the use of sm-modellbau JLOG2 then it is possible to use CC and Kontronic controls. In the end, I choosed to use a Unisens-E when it felt like a more universal solution.

Maybe that Graupner controller does have an ARM chip in. I just downloaded the software for an F5j altimeter, tiny device, with direct USB connection and it seems to have an ARM in. If this generalises we are in for a sudden jump in performance of our Rc stuff.

Hott

Let's wait till September.

Can't understand the price difference from the 150 to 160 versions though...

Great week for all!

The cheaper one is an OPTO and the more expensive one has a BEC which can cope with High Voltage which is why the price would be so high (same as Kontronik's).

I just have the 2-4s volt sensor atm. Want to get ESC with telemetry for my soon-to-start phoenix hawk assembly. Hence the question, I can find 120A ESC with SBEC for 89 euros from Pichler. But Graupner telemetry is why I have an Mz24 :P
