DA50R and DLE35RA best RPM?

Hello I want to know the optimal peak rpm on the ground for best performance with each of these engines?
I want to use a Menz S 19x8 on the DLE35 (I am getting 7400 with a Xoar 19x8) and a Menz S 22x8 with the Da50. Is that fine? Is Menz 22x8 better than biela 22x8 for a GRp Patty Wagstaff? I want fast spool up and 7K RPM. I will be running the DA50 with a Slimline Pitts muffler (200-300 RPM less than stock muffler).

''Optimal rpm on the ground'' has no bearing on performance in the air. Forget rpm numbers. The only real way to know what prop works the best for your flying style is to try different ones. Other than that it's just a guessing game.

That is true but optimal rpm by prop on the ground is a good start. I like to, for example the DLE 35RA is spec'ed at 8500rpm peak, prop for 7500rpm on the ground and go from there.

What I mean is every engine has a max torque @ some rpm that maybe is not peak rpm so I guess if you stay @7k on the ground in the air there are a hundred more rpm and that gives you max torque. Personally I dont like a prop that gives less than 7000 rpm on the ground as it feels sluggish.

Check out the power systems for extreme flight fanatics in the 3D forum. There's a guy over there multiple times a day he goes buy aeroplayin you can send him a pm. Or ask your question over there. He has lots of test data and first hand expereance with different props on most gass and electric motor combinations.
