TNC: Goodby Tony
The RC world has lost a great contributor and a terrific human being in
Tony Criscimagna on March 28th. For those of you not familiar with the
man, he was the inventor of the TNC digital readout/optical sensor
tachometer, hence the initials. He later sold the rights to the
production of what many consider the finest tachometer for RC use.
Tony lived and flew his airplanes near and lived in Woodstock, N.Y. I
was fortunate to become a friend and fly with Tony when he spent summers
as a snowbird along with his wife, Pauline, down here in Central
Florida. Unfortunately health issues precluded his return here for the
past few years.
