I ordered a 125 amp ESC from HobbyKing last night. Should be here within a week or so. I plan to get all the other repairs done to the P-47 in the meanwhile.

Seems like I go through this process with every airplane. Build, fly, fix, tweak, fly, tweak, fly, fly, fly.

I am excited to see some video of the Pitts!

They just don't fly well unitl they have at least one crash under thier belt.

The inside of the Pitts is HUGE! There is enough room to put the two modules side by side, jest behind the CG. It should be easy to balance out.

Did you make the modifications to the speaker locations on the 47? Get them a little closer to the outside?

Snoopy One-One maiden flight with the new addition of the Mini-Sound system this AM.

It might be a "mini" but it puts out alot of sound! I could hear it the whole time! I love this thing, a great addition to Snoopy One-One.

I will be looking at the bigger sound system for my 60" Tiger Moth!

Whats the latest on the 16bit version?

I have a few. I thought they were all coming in 16bit, but as it turned out, it was only a handfull. The next order should have more. I have tested them, and they sound pretty good!

Will do. Right behind where the battery sits, where the wires come up through, there is enough room to put the two speaker units side by side. So the sound will be coming out from just under the pilot on the sides. I need to find a location for the small speakers yet, bottom probably.

Andrew,

Have not modified the speaker setup yet. I was focused on the motor and landing gear replacement. However, the next step of replacing the ESC is a perfect opportunity to reorganize the innards of the P-47, including the placement of the sound module speakers.

We had a nice day here today so I was out at my local flying field for four hours flying three of my planes. Really fun day. I actually had somebody ask me about the status of the P-47, so there is some anticipation going.

Snoopy One-One

two more sorties this afternoon, the sound is just awesome!

my neighbor came over, thought I had some kind of small gas engine on it.

My V7 P-51 is done and I have a couple of flights on it and it flys amazing. I want sound but the thought of cutting into this amazing looking plane has me a little worried. Here's a photo.
