got mine from gopro 4 days ago

all sizes play and edit fine in sony vegas pro 11. i even edited the 4k, it was a little slow but it did work. pro 12 has native support 4k including red

also saw this trick on another forum as you can not a lens protection replacement kit yet

Nice, I'm waiting on TIM from getfpv too see if he will do a layer lens for the 3 too. Sucks there are no replacement lens yet.

The glass part of the new protective lens is so big that it extends beyond
the edge of the camera. I don't see any way that a new LayerLens would
be significantly different than what we've done here. The nice thing
about the new case is that the spacer between camera and lens is built
into the back of the black part so you just take it out of the case,
and stick it over the lens barrel (it also centers itself). The velcro strips
are just pinched by the edge of the protector when you screw it back together.

i've looked thru youtube on wifi on gopro app via iphone.. understand you can control and view live feed... but do not see wifi playback of video from the gopro recorded from sd card..

You can live preview the Hero 2 with WiFi bacpac yes, not the Hero3 yet. Playback through WiFi might be a future feature, some have found that lower resolution files could be saved concurrently to the main ones, presumably those would be used for wifi playback. Nobody knows when that could come... but knowing GoPro, probably once the Hero 4 is there

Just got my Gopro black and the lens looks very foggy and dirty, anyone else's look like that. Can't tell in any of the pics or video. I had a hero 1 and the lens was very clean and didn't look foggy inside. Will try to clean it real good tonight.

Mine was like that too. I had to clean it with my DSLR lens cleaner. It had a hazy smeared film on it.

I shot some video this weekend of my RC cars and it was shot with 1080 60p, 720 120p, and even a couple shots at 480 240p. I know its not FPV but you can see what you get when you slow it down.

I guess GoPro are sticking with the original 15 Nov release date for those that got in before they changed the website.
