I get my ass kicked with the BEST of 'em. I'm a five-time recipient of the Broken Nose award, I tell ya. Well, ok, only once from a fight, the other times from stupid kid stuff, but still, I ain't no stranger to a good pounding...
Actually, (and seriously) I saw a couple of takedowns in there that were new to me and looked pretty cool. A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away) I went through some LE training in the Coast Guard. It's a lot of fun! I'm no expert, but I was qualified.
Nice video, nice looking studio too!

I look after people with learning disabilities, mental illnesses and behavioural problems, these range from Aspergers and other autistic spectrum disorders through Down's syndrome to paranoid scizophrenia. The behavioural problems are mainly based around sex, about 70% of the people I support are on the police's sexual offenders register for things like indecent exposure, paedophilia and rape, both hetero- and homosexual. I had a typical day yesterday, one of the guys had such a bad epileptic seizure I had to give him a date rape drug (been prescribed for these situations, he'd have died of exhaustion without it), and the other one in that house threw feaces everywhere and then refused to clean it up. Not as bad as one before when one of the lads attacked me with a hammer. I've not been taught breakaway techniques, and I'm not allowed to fight back, but I bloody well give as good as I get if it looks like I'm in severe danger. I do this for minimum wage by the way.... But not for much longer. Handing in my notice to go and work for another organisation that specialises in challenging behaviour, and they pay a lot more and give you the training you need. I love the work though, it's such a buzz when you see someone who came in as a complete mess and a huge danger to society and they go off to live on their own, to live a normal life earning a wage, paying tax and contributing. I live for the moment when you can see that it's all finally starting to sink in and they can be turned around. What can I say though, RC keeps me sane. BTW, 32, English, about to get married. Like the idea of this thread, I've often wondered about the others who post here

Automatic transmission rebuilder for the last 30 years.
Actually we rebuild all parts of the driveline in cars and light trucks up to 1 ton.
automatics, standards, transfercases, and differentials.
Flying RC now for just over a year.

Oh yeah, on the side I trade currencies on the foreign exchange. just to support my RC addiction.

Hmmm...difficult to describe. Basically, I work in a cleanroom (hence the yellow light and funny outfit in my avatar). I use what is essentially the same processes used to make microchips, but I figure out ways to do it on odd shaped, large, potentially curved substrates made of all sorts of various materials. Horribly outdated description here.

I've got an electrical engineering degree, although I haven't designed a real circuit since school.
