A few patches of snow remaining - Teichalm / Styria (and a crash)
These are a some pics from a recent trip to Teichalm, about 30 km north of Graz. The warm and sunny days had melted away most of the snow but the remaining patches were good for some nice contrasts on the mountain pastures.
During my first and only flight I did it again, got disoriented by the sun and crashed the plane. I think some gusts of downwind may have contributed, I don't know exactly. The crash looked terrible, but I was glad that the camera showed nothing but some dirt marks from the impact on the soft ground , solid body of the LX3     Cheers, Norbert |

Ahhh! Norbert is back to APing also
very nice photos, crystal crispnot always easy to catch nice colours at the very beginnig of spring: winter shades can still be present, and the blooming colours of spring still absent. This snow patches on the mountain are a fine topic well done Norbert!Glad to know that the cam is fully ok , lumix rules bloody downwinds  I do not know that very much in a sea shore area but I have already met with some weird flying conditions when wind blows inland. Are you planning a new bird?cheers! olivier |

I have just discovered the photos and they are very relaxing for me. I am in the fever of spring planting and this was just the landscape needed to forget for a few seconds about the present rush. Aries |
