I wasn't doing much more than hovering and forward flight. I was a little higher but pitch and throttle were behaving fine so I was able to get it down without incident.

Let us know how the 2624 works out.

I have a WK2801 Pro, but I have been flying my 4F200 in 2603 Compatibility mode. I would like to fly it in 2801 mode, but I can't seem to get it set up right.

It's all stock except for the RX, I'm using a 2618 RX.

What servo Normal/Reverse settings should I use, and any other settings to use the 2801 TX?

From memory I think you have to interchange the PIT and AILE servo leads in order to get the mix right in 2801 mode using a rx2612. Also set the swash to "single servo" mode. Somebody else may be able to confirm the servo channel swap.

Which way is your RX installed? The 2618 has to be rotated 180 deg from the direction the 2612 is installed.

My 2618 is installed exactly as the 2612 was, however, I had to rotate it 180 when I did my 1#A FBL conversion. On mine, it is set to 1 servo, & the Aile & Elev ch are reversed. I can't confirm the Ch swap without taking it apart.

Also, I got the 2624V in & the rudder gyro is programmed wrong. I think I got a defective one. Everything else works fine. Going to try another one.

I just took my 4f200s out the other day, one with 2618, one with 2702, and while the 2618 is better than the notoriously untrustworthy 2612, the difference to the 2702, IMHO, makes it worth the price to upgrade all the way. So much smoother, predictable, and yet more responsive.

Tracknoob, quick question on the Rx2702, I noticed that it has connections for BATT, THRO1, & THRO2. How did you connect yours to your ESC/BATT?
I'm about to complete a FBL conversion for a HIKO400, and use the 2702.

ESC (including BEC power -- pos and neg-- and also throttle signal) to THRO1, all other servos as labeled. THRO 2 not used.

Does the 2624 bind with the 2801 TX without swapping servo's, or any other changes.

Yes, It's the Rx2624V for the 2801, they also have a 2624V-D for the DEVO. I got the reverse Gyro figured out. I had to swap the rudder servo to the opposite side of the heli. Darryl suggested it, it worked. I put 2 packs through it to set the gyro sens up. Hovers beautifully. I noticed that on this one, when the voltage gets low you don't have to fight it to keep it level. I'm thinking that's one of the upgrades from the 2618 & 2612. I cant wait until the weather gets better, rain today, wind tomorrow.

I have a 450 clone with the 2702 rx. I recently had my 5084 tail servo fail. I replaced it with a savox 0262. Here's my question. I'd like to flip the tail grips & need to reverse the the servo throw on the rudder. What's the best way? Thanks for the help.

I recently ran into the same situation with one of mine. Question, when you reverse the rudder/servo direction in the Tx, does the gyro not respond correctly? That's what mine was doing. I re-mounted the servo to the opposite side of the tail boom. It worked fine after that.

I haven't gotten that far yet. Are you reversing it on the reverse menu or are you using a negative value to reverse the direction? Or, what channel is the rudder on the tx? I haven't reversed the rudder gyro on the rx yet.
