That probably accounts for the stinky mud-like substance at the bottom.

Never thought of it before but it's very close to being returned to the state of earth from which whatever life it was, was strained from.

Surely you mean dropout.

Even with all the devices available to mountaineers it's still going to be a horribly public display.
"Gardez-loo" as they used to say in Edinburgh before the introduction of plumbed in toilets.
