Here's a good site for An-2 info. Click on "drawings" for lots of three-views.
http://www.an2flyers.org/ I remember the first time I saw one of these. It was at the Chino "Planes of Fame" airshow. There was a demo flight of an An-2. As a finale, the pilot dropped the flaps,and about 50 feet off the deck, headed into the wind. That plane da*n near hovered, the stall speed is so low!! If you're ever in SoCal, go the the March Field Air Museum, near Riverside. They have one of these on display. You can step up into it. You can even pretend that you're Sergei Alexiov, flying rescue supplies into Zermansk....or something. |
