The fuse is ready for cover, well kind of. I still have not made up my mind if I am adding a hatch on the top forward for my RX and sound system components.

You may not

But no matter how many tikes in the past I still had parts not fit the first time. Now days if I am really worried I cut the piece out with paper, trial fit it, then if all looks good then I cut wood.

If I had the money back I have spent on doing it wrong I would have a 330" XB=70

But what sucks is they don't make the paint any more.

Home Depot or Lowes color matching...can even get a sample size (8oz) for about $3 if you don't want gloss. This is a water cleanable latex. It is espeically nice for normal size warbirds (meaning anything less than DAG-size--lol). You take the aircraft pieces in before assembly and get sample size jars, and you have enough paint to completely repaint your model, let alone match it in case repairs are needed. Got to be one of the best deals ever. And if the color proves good, you can go get it in 1 (or 5) gallon sizes, and get it in gloss if so desired...Pete M

I have used latex before, and the color matching is 100% spot on, but I just hate the 5-6 days of really drying 100%, and since I am in a basement shop about 2 weeks. And sanding latex stinks....

Hi guys,for paint matching I use a local specialist dec.merchant who have a scanning colour matching mixer.Spot on match!They can mix using an acrylic base,lot quicker dry than latex.Might be worth investigating.
Once scanned in the system stores the info- you can go back and ask for a can of say stupot grey46 and it's straight there.It also stores a load of standard colours.

May be a really stupid question, but i there a difference between acrylic latex, and just plain acrylic? The reason I ask is, I have gotten acrylic latex before at Glidden in any color I want.
