1. Did you get beeps from ALL four ESCs before lowering the throttle? 2. How much throttle must you apply before the remaining motors start? 3. Are your motors connected to the correct motor ports (M1 - M4)? 4. Is your KK2.0 board mounted correctly (with buttons towards the tail)? 5. Are you using Self Level mode? If so, try Normal mode. 6. Are your motors spinning as specified in the first post of this thread? 7. Are your propellers mounted correctly (CW vs. CCW) with text facing upwards? 8. Is your copter's COG (Center of Gravity) good? 9. Use the Receiver Test function to verify that your transmitter endpoints are set correctly (-100 to 100) and reverse your TX channels as needed. 10. Perform 'Sensor Calibration' on a level surface. 11. A good mixer setup for V-Tail has been posted earlier in this thread. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...postcount=1507 |

I've done all of the above. Which is why I'm stumped and actually just listed it for sale. I used Tech69's settings and recommendations. Since I will probably need brain surgery within the next 6 months, I'm wanting something slightly easier to deal with / fly. I bought the frame because it looks badass. |

You need to reverse them since like you did they push the tail to the ground |

Hi all
I have been checking this thread for a few months now trying to resist the urge to buy another piece of RC Kit but am unable to resist such an awsome looking aircraft. took the plunge a week ago 500 black and red arrived yesterday, built and light kit fitted (had one laying around for a few years so thought finally time to use it). anyhow Great job by all involved in Design/Production/Testing. I have FC + motors + ESC's yet to be delivered so will possibly need to come back and pick your brains when they arrive. for now can anyone confirm for me the size of the thread used on the 500mm are they 2-56 Thread or 4 -40 Thread, sorry as i am useless with imperial measurements |

Nice set of light..
![]() Look different than the led strip. I see that you mounted the top plate with 0.5" standoffs. Normaly you should use the 1" standoffs i have provide and they are use with setscrews where the front arm connect to the center plate. Bottom plate - Bottom arm - 0.5" standoff - Top Arm - Top plate - Setscrew - 1" standoff - Top Protect plate (sorry it's not from me.. but you should have long standoffs) |

yeah i put the top plate on just so i dont loose it for now and to keep all the vtail bits together. ( i have too much RC gear , i like to keep it all seperate) i origionally planned to have the top plate from you after next paycheck then i got to thinking, cut it here and there to lighten it and give it a new shape and order some 1" standoffs and screws. (thats why i wanted to know the thread size) i probably wil still buy your top plate in a few weeks though. as i thinks it would look nice in red. Blades, ESC and motors arrive tomorrow yaay!! Quadrino coming from flielab (canada to UK) i thinks so not sure how long that will take. I cant wait till its complete |
