ps nice V2 actually it looks like a MX
I will fly it a few times like it is then cover the straight edges of the wing and tail with tape and also fill the curved edges with lightweight spackling. Then I will compare the flights.

I launched the Natter a couple of times today but instead of flying it wants to float down like a parachute. It floated so slow the controls had no affect because no air was flowing over them. I will try adding some weight to the nose. I want it to slightly dive nose down at peek of launch.

I did not like to way the nose looked on the ME-163. I cut the top off a bottle and slid it on the front of the ME-163. I think it looks better.

I installed a parachute in the Natter so it will always land soft even if I can not get it to glide. I finished painting. If I can not ever get it to glide I will remove all servos except the one for the parachute.

The ME-163 blew up on the launch pad. The bottom bottle split almost the full length of the bottle at about 100 pounds. I was going for 140 pounds. Glad I put the fuselage top on with shipping tape, made it easy to remove it. When I make another one I am going to wrap duck tape around the bottles to reinforce them.

I have seen a simple method of jettisoning boosters for water rockets. The booster is connected to the first stage via wire pins that fit into tubes, if the pins are mounted to the rocket itself they would be pointing down and if they are mounted to the booster they point up. When the boosters are producing thrust the pins are held in the tubes by the upwards pressure then when the boosters are no longer producing thrust they simply fall off. I see no reason this wouldn't work for your application.

I rebuilt the ME-163. The rocker motor end of the 163 is a the top half of a Sprite bottle glued on a standard 2 liter bottle. I reinforced the joint with duck tape. When I charged the 163 the glue joint let go and it just ripped the duck tape apart. I reinforced this joint with clear shipping tape on the first 163 and the joint held. I will be using clear shipping to reinforce now instead of duck tape.

New Glider:
Wasserraketen - Flugzeug 3.Generation (1 min 10 sec)

Launch pressure is around 80psi, flight time 20 - 25 seconds.
It will be a free download plan on Modell-Aviator.de in summer.
