A 3000mah will fit with no modification. I flew with 3300's but I had to slide the battery all the way aft for a good balance.

Super stable! I did have to max out my aileron throws on the control horns and in my radio end points, but it rolls nice now. Elevator works good in the middle hole and I used maximum rudder throw with some expo dialed in.

I'm really happy with this airplane. I have been flying FMS and Dynam warbirds for a while now, and this WACO is just relaxing and fun to fly. Very aerobatic if you want it to be and it looks really good in the air.

Will it fly ok with 3S 2200mah packs? I do have a boatload of them! I did order 4S 2200's but they won't be here for a while!

Test flew mine tonight. This baby is a pure dream to fly. It is a pure joy and does the most graceful aerobatics. It's also very nice looking in the sky. Dynam has hit another one way way out of the park again. I set the control throws per the manual, but I'm going to increase my rudder and elevator another 5 to 8 mm. I couldn't get it to spin with the stock throws as they are very conservative. I also felt mine was a little nose heavy at 75 mm.

Flew mine early last evening and got 6 flights on her!
She certainly is a keeper! I have the PZ Albatross, SE-5 and the Stinson and they're fun but the Waco is now my go-to plane. I'm using Turnigy 4S 2200's and am getting 7 minutes and she balances perfectly at 72mm with the battery half-way into the front bulkhead!
She's also the sturdiest bird in my hangar Can't believe the abuse she takes!

I was just looking at some of the Dynam products, they seem great value and get good reviews. Grayson Hobby seem to have good deals and are telling me they will have a Dynam delivery on 9/20. I like the Dynam Grand Cruiser but I think the Waco will be better suited to my grass strip.

I ordered mine from Nitroplanes last night--looks good!

Mine shipped today from NP. Will have it Thurs evening.
