Have any of you any experience with these cells?
I did a search of this group and found nothing,
Are they any good?

Sanyo NiMh
Size: 4/5 AA
Weight: 35 grams
Internal Resistance: 25 mohms

Any thoughts or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Awaiting a purchase decision.

I just looked at the Sanyo site because I 'm not familiar with this cell.

It seems to be a A size not AA . This cell has very high resistance(25mohm) for its' size . The HR 4/5 AUP cell has only 5 mohm resistance for about the same size and weight . A much better choice.

I see what you mean about the higher internal resistance.
This cell seems to be the same size as the AUP but is rated at 2150 mahr and costs less .

Higher internal resistance = lower current draw available & more heat generated internally -

Don't let price dictate your purchase. If you ever want higher amps from this cell, you will be disappointed. The capacity will be lower than the 1700 at higher draws. It may be a better value to buy cells that will work in more than one application. BTW: higher resistance also means lower charge rates, longer charging times .

For more capacity, and 30-40 Amp draws, the 1950 FAUP cells are getting very good reviews

Do you know a good place to find the 1950 FAUP's?
