Beauty!

Clear canopy has got to go.

Blue E-flite logo on wing looks silly.

I think this will replace that E-flite wing logo nicely.

RC, that's funny though, since most people were complaining about the Mustang and Trojan because they did not have clear canopies.
A little Tamiya black spray paint does the trick in no-time

They always say that... I guess their webmaster cannot put down NO assembly required. But who knows, maybe it's the time you need to put your jaw back together after your first flight?

Is it only me, or do we have a new receiver as well??? AR6400NBL and 4 separate servos? That would be kind of cool too. But then, other than the fact that the ESC is brushless, a AR6300 would do the trick...

That's the problem when the addiction gets REAL.

It's no longer IF I'll buy, it's all about WHEN??

I 'blame it on the UMX Beast.

Finest UM plane I've ever flown!!

It has to be at least slightly better. Larger control surfaces (tail and elevator) and ailerons from the single wing right in the middle of the prop wash. The nose is also a little bit more profiled. So sure enough, it's not much more, but I'm hoping for some decent hovering We will know soon enough no matter what, since, if it can ever hover, they will likely show it in the obvious incoming video.

Edit: Also noticed the motor is not the same as the Beast.... 2500KV instead of 2300KV. Why would they need a different motor if not to achieve some sort of better 3D? (they have a different part number... ) As a bonus, since we seem to be dealing with a faster motor, and a new receiver, we may also have a better onboard ESC.... If the motor doesn't draw too much more current, then there's also a possibility that it could be used as a straight drop-in the Beast for a faster RPM speed for those guy who like to gain every rpm they can. (Bye bye stock 120mah, hello 240mah Hyperions!). The fact that this bird come with a 180mah seem to indicate the motor is juicier already though.... So who will be the first one who'll drop one in his Beast and blow his ESC for us?

Not being much of a 3D or aerobatic flyer, what are the wing attachments for?

I've been addicted for a long time. (16 years now) We had to get a larger place for all my planes lol.

But this is a must have though. How can anyone say no to this that flies any sort of 3d?

Damn HH taking all my money...

I guess you mean the SFG or Side Force Generator? (little thing you add on the tip of the wings). They are there to help mainly for Knife Edge. Basically they give more rudder autority.

Here's a quick memo about it from Horizon Hobby.http://www.horizonhobby.com/Articles...ArticleID=1484
