I did not mean to offend anyone of you with my "smoke a bowl" comment.

in my defense it is legal here in Washington state now

over corrected again this morning with my hawk sky plane= what goes up must come down with wrong stick movement = tore whole nose off =my fault .no matter it can and will be fixed when I can spend some more time over gfs house

on a good note just got home and my new pcb is here for the v912 .not sure if that is the problem but will know soon ? mike I refuse to fly that piece of junk dh it is dangerous and looks to be a part eater ! poor design ect .thanks of advice on the walkera . il be happy if I get my v912 going today.

Same here! The only women you see fishing or shooting around here have bodies that look like a burlap sack filled with door knobs!

Sometimes a man or woman sees things that a man or woman should not see :eek

The problem is that some of those burlap sacks filled with door knobs shoot really well and in a close in fight would kick the out of you

Ever break up a fight between two overly hormoned females? Been there done that and I am glad that I came out of my "mediation" with all my body parts.

Are you perhaps talking about a "cat fight"?

That can get nasty.

Hey All,
Hope everyone is pooping OK?

Just had to report in and say I was very pleased with the first 10 flights with my ICON A5. All went well. I spent time reading the ICON forum, then maybe 500 flights on Phoenix, and then this AM put her in the water.

I don't know if it was the water, or this plane, but it roars when taking off!
I think the sound of the motor is super cool over water!!!

Man, what a plane! Power to spare. With a little more batt than I have, I imagine it would kick some bootie!!!

Working on getting the vidcam installed, so I can show you guys.

Peace out!

It's a sweetie allright! Try the P47 Thunderbolt, it is a kick also. Then try the ICON A5, and try to land it without bouncing/skipping. Getting the perfect landing is harder in Phoenix than it is with the real model.

Hey guys! Finally back in the air... Kinda.

My Esky Lama v4 just came in the mail replacing my v3 that I fried by plugging in the battery backwards (doh!). Unpacked it, charged up the new batteries and took to the air. Was pretty well balanced out the box, and I was thrilled for about 45 seconds. Copter cut out mid flight and crashed. Playing with it a bit more, the problem repeats. It flies for a few seconds, and then the motor powering the upper blade slows and stops. If I continue throttling it for 10-15 more seconds, the lower rotor suffers the same fate.

Did I just get a dud? Bad ESC? I bought this new from Miracle Mart, and have had luck with their stuff in the past.

Welcome back sx. This is highly unusual for this heli. Just to be sure. This is the ESky Lama V4 right? Brand new?

EDIT: Duh, just re-read your post....HHMMM. Don't know, maybe you should consider sending it back. If I had to go out on a limb and take a guess,,..it sounds like a bad brick. You had her in the air flying nice then sheeet hit the fan. Not good...

Mike.

Yup. It's the Esky Lama v4. Brand new heli and brand new batteries.

I had a v3 before, but couldn't find one of the 2.4ghz versions new at a good price, so I went to the v4.I Intended to eventuall swap the internals to my v3, as I have lots of v3 parts, and the only difference is the frame and body. I was hoping to sell the transmitter for a few bucks, and get a full copter's worth of new parts for a bit more than the price of just the 3-1 shipped
