Alluring Alki

Soon the winter grey and rain will envelop the PNW for many months...great for coffee drinking, not so good for AP.

Wow....that first picture almost made me fall into the monitor. That is quite a breathtaking panorama.
What camera were you using??
Thanks

It was a pretty day for AP. I managed to get a shot of the Mountain while flying out of my front yard today......but it's not as nice as that first shot of yours!

I usually don't get high enough and/or manage to take a shot to the southwest towards the Mountain when I do my neighborhood reconaissance. That was a lucky one.

I love the results you Optio guys are getting and with Steve's camera being functional after being outside in the rain for days - pretty compelling reason to choose that one as the Pencam upgrade.....

Nice pics. Were you flying from a boat? The first pic looks like you were pretty far into the sound. My Aunt and Uncle live on Bainbridge.
