The difference between the Lama 2 and the 5G6-1 is separate servos on the 5G6-1 versus linear servos mounted on the receiver board on the Lama 2 and Lama 2-1. The real problem with the Lama 2 is the lousy receivers. Walkera didn't do a very good job of teaching their assembly line workers how to solder. The -1 version hasn't adequately addressed that either. I have both and the 5G6-1, for me, wins hands down.
