3D Optical Flow Motion Tracking of Aerial Video
Been playing around with 3D scene generation and 3D tracking of aerial video. In this video the yellow 3D box has been composited into the scene following a session of tracking and solving the scene in 3D.
The ultimate goal here is to generate photorealistic texture mapped 3D models from aerial video and/or composite objects into the scene (roads, buildings, landscaping, parking lots, etc) for visualization purposes.
The data generated by the 3D track can be brought into almost any 3D rendering or compositing program.

Pretty interesting, I'll echo Luap's question. What software is that? And, I'll ask one more. What rendering software do you import the data into? Is either package trial-ware, shareware, or freeware?

for this example I used PFTrack for Mac. it can be downloaded as fully functional demo without export ability. It will export to most common 3D scene formats.
For an open source freeware 3D tracker check out Voodoo.
