You find the oddest things. Thanks. Brought back memories of my mom taking me to swim lessons in our '62 Corvair. We got the oddest looks when she pulled lawn chairs out of the trunk, in the FRONT of the car

We had a Corvair when I was a kid. My mom kept a pan underneath the engine to collect the oil that dripped out and poured back in to save money. The o-rings on the pushrod tubes leaked like a sieve.

John our corvair made it through 10 Ohio winters before the bottom rusted through. It got me from Firestone park to Hoban from 71 to 73. Ended up driving it to the junkyard by Akron Muni airport.

That thing must have handled horribly with all that weight to the rear of the rear axle! Bet it needed a wheelie bar.

They crashed it on wet track, wrong tires, high speed. I'd say it had some handling problems.

Sounds like another GM product. The Fiero. Never mind. You said high speed.

I wanted to buy one back in 65. Waned a convertible with the big engine and air conditioning. Big engine and air were mutually exclusive. So I bought a 65 Chevelle SS convertible 327/250 hp. Fun car.

I just recently saw a Turbo Corsa on the road in mint condition.
