Wind today was somewhat milder W@14,Gusting to 25.
I took her out any way and did better at getting her nose down into the wind.
But with the GH SSv2 motor and 1350 li-po to weight down a 48" blended wing was not enough. I added another battery for dead weight and she flew much better heavier. Not as susceptible to the wind gusts. My Hat Cam failed before I got her off the tailgate so no video to show you. I took out my Light Fulcrum too a flew it with no problems. It is the same weight as the PAK DA but only has a 28" wingspan (higher wing load I'm thinking) so i came back to the hanger and started building another PAK DA with a 34" ( like my Berkut PAK FA) instead of a 48" wingspan.

Well it seems I am once again gainfully employed this time in my industry. So now I will have more money to pour into my hobby but less time to do it.

Hi all, here is my rendition of a flying saucer:

UFO Space Alien Flying Saucer Original (4 min 41 sec)

And for a fixed wing, this is what I did. In a light breeze it will hover in place in a hi alpha attitude. Ha ha!

Is it a UFO!?! (3 min 41 sec)
