Scherrer UHF LRS x Futaba 12FG/R6014FS

I have a doubt, give me a advice please.

I just bought a Futaba 12 FGH 2.4 with a R6014FS dual antenna receiver and i already have 2.4ghz amplifiers (i have a 2W, 10W and a 40W 2.4ghz amplifiers) + 2.4 GHz 23dB High Gain Directional Grid Parabolic tripod mounted transmittion antenna on the ground + 2 x 18db 90║ on the plane. The video downlink is a 1500mW 12v 1.2Ghz transmiter (56g) or 4000mW 1.2Ghz with a pathed receiver antenna + antenna tracker in the ground.
I can use them with no problem as i live in a no populated/isolated area.
Can and should i use a Scherrer UHF LRS RC System for extreme long range flight ?
It think not because i think it will skrull with the FAAST codification of Futaba┤s system.
Will i have better range with the Sherer + 7w or with my 2W/10W/40W 2.4gHz ?
What do you think ?

I intend to keep the 2.4Ghz futaba codification and for this what is the connection/plug/mod i should use to connect the futaba antenna to the amplifiers ?
I can even split the antenna output and put 2 different high placed antennas do try a diversity pattern, how to do it ?

Thanks in advance for replies.

The high power 2.4GHz with high gain antenna provides extremely high range in case of clear line of sight. However a robotpilot is very important to survive a drop in tracking.

The Thomas system has high range without sharp directional antenna too, and penetration is better (trees etc). Of course a high gain antenna improves range further. The bottleneck is more like the video downlink either with the above 2.4GHz or Thomas system.

When the range is really high, Fresnel zone is important. Clear line of sight is not enough, better if ground (or other obstuctions) are as far from the transmission line as possible. You get the best results if your base station is on a hilltop.

The Thomas system needs ppm input, it's independent of the Fasst system.

Opps, I just observed that. How do you mean that? Directional antenna on the plane?
A 18dB antenna is highly directional. The plane turns, tilts etc. You lost the signal every time unless tracking on the plane as well. But such a tracking system is too complicated, way above the usual amateur level.

And what the 90║ means? 18dB gain with that beam width is just impossible.
