Question
Sign off question.

Is there any good reason to constantly sign off this site rather than just stay signed on? I would imagine their servers can handle as many sign ons as may ever occur at one time.

I never sign off (intentionally). No load on their server, it's all done with cookies on YOUR machine...

Pat is correct.

I never sign off, but when I periodically clear my temp file, (cache) the link disappears and I have to sign on again.

Not really a problem, unless you've forgotten your password---.
