I'll add my little bit too.

Mark and I had a really fine time at this year's Open. I love the spirit of support that seems to fill everyone - it's been that way since I first heard the MoBros pitch a bigger, better pool of flyers for the Team Trials. That was 'way back in 2008, maybe?

It was also great fun trying to fly touch-n-goes with Everest's Radian, in the dark. Hope we didn't keep anyone awake. We sure couldn't wake up Tom, not even when he got out of his truck and walked around.

I'm looking forward to coming back, as often as I am able.

Maybe now that Dave has stepped down from CD, he can fly, too. Hope so, anyway.

Good on all of you!

Yours, Greg

So I finally got a break from work to post up..

Huge thanks to Dave and Philip for putting on this event and to Dan and Jenn for helping with the scoring. Its greatly appreciated..

Also, whoever put REAL toilet paper in the Port-A-Potty THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! It was nice not to have to use "see through TP"...

Man this was a great contest for me. In my last AZ showing I had not flown in 4 weeks prior to the contest and it showed(LEMON will back me up on that one). I vowed never to let that happen again. I hope I redeemed myself

Thanks to all who timed for me as my personal timer was not there .

Donnie, as always, thanks for taking care of me.

Good times for sure. Great contest, lunches and dinner were off the hook!,and also the Alula fest on Saturday afternoon was crazy. Cant wait to do it again!!

HUGH

Hugh,

you can thank John Armstrong for that roll - I took it from his Toy Hauler stash. Top quality paper for sure.

I'm glad you appreciate the finer things in life ... see you at the IHLGF?

I took some video of people launching/landing, etc for a video the guys in UT and AZ that are putting together a video project. Most of it is from Friday and a few are from Saturday.

The videos are edited for time, otherwise it's just raw footage.

You can find them here:

So that's the secret to your success! The only time I care about REAL toilet paper is when I'm blotting epoxy during a wing layup. I now have to expand my horizon and learn from a Master. I'll bring some of the "good stuff" to the IHLGF.
