Yes I have seen your posts but the range is not that important to me being a novice quad flyer as I still have trouble turning the quad with the rudder (yaw) without altering the throttle setting so I fly in close until I get better.
I love your frankenquads and have been following the 18$ scratchbuild quad thread a lot lately and have now built 4 different size quads using the JXD 385 electrics and a H quad.My latest one is a 30cm quad with bamboo skewer arms and v939 electrics.

Have to do something when I cannot get outside with my scratchbuilt foamies.

Much like this thread my v202 is I imagine like almost everybody else's sitting there unflown and collecting dust, Well I want to change that

So, am I right in thinking that compatible ESCs flashed with blheli would work with the brushed output of the v202 board?

From what I understand it should but I don't want to commit unless I'm sure, also if it does work will the v202 board behave/cope ok with a significant boost in performance, is it up to the challenge?

If WL Toys updates the V202 board with faster yaw rate, we'll start stocking them again. One thing I've heard only once or twice is "I broke my V202"

If you're going to do a FQ of this type though you really ought to do a V252 board onto a V212 chassis:

Hmmm. What weighs less?

A 252 body or a FQ chassis?

V252 weighs at least 2 grams less than the 'MassiveRC' FQ that we sold for a short while.

I'm going to make another Frankenyaw. I've been missing it since giving it Steve-O. It's much faster than even my lightened V212.

Sorry Jay,

I don't own a Walkera LB so I'm not familiar with the board but there is a product called RAM lighting that is meant to be added to any micro\mini quad, try Google searching it.
