Lift-off XS as a fast fun flier??

I've been away from my toys for several years and recently got flying again.

I dug out my old Lift-off XS that I used to run on 8x CP1300 SCR cells to power a Hacker b40-6L & 4.4:1 g/box with their Master 40-3p ESC and 13x8 CAM Carbon prop.

If I recall correctly I used to manage to get 3 x 30 sec bursts which made the pack pretty hot.

We don't really do gliding at my club as we are height limited and I was thinking of using the lift off for some fast flying fun using lipo power.

Would really appreciate recommendations on batteries, ESC, prop etc. Or should I put the gear in a different aircraft (given that we have limited selection here in OZ)

Cheers
