Actually, so would mine normally

.... helped to fight that normal left roll/veer
... in less windy conditions I have evolved the habit of hold in ~25% right rudder on lift out.

Here's a pic of that same Bf109 back in 'ship-shape' condition along with my new Bf 110C-4 this past Thursday.

mine has the HK ntm 3548-900 on stock prop and 3s or 4s. we can hold them from the top of the fuse at the yellow tail band. go to 3/4 power and launch at 60 degrees to horizon. it will be knife edge by the time its level, but well into flying speed and at 30 ft off the runway. level the wings let it drop to 20ft in a shallow dive just to make sure its flying. then add E to enter the pattern.

I put a P-15 950 kv motor in mine this morning. It fit as long as I put three washers behind the motor mount. I upgraded the ESC to 40 amp while I was at it. I intend to fly it on a two blade Extra 300 prop. I won't be able to maiden for another week though.

Das ende!

My PKZ Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 is now officially KAPUTT!

It would seem that after crashing when the fuse broke while in flight, and once again, a few flights later when the elevator servo arm broke while on final approach,..... the motor finally decided to say "gut auf Wiedersehen" during hand launching on the very next flight.

Oh well! It had a good run with ~350+flights on the OE airframe.
Went through three (3) PKZ stock motors, one after market motor (same specs), and a few pairs of HS-55 aileron servos, and about a half dozen, or so, HS-55 servo gear sets.

Now I've still got my new 'FULL HOUSE' FMS 1.4M Messerschmitt Bf 109F-4 to maiden.

...along with my new HK Durafly 1.2M Messeschmitt Bf 110C-7, and I'm expecting to maiden a new Dynam 1.25M Hawker Tempest V in a week, or so.

Hope to see some of you on the other forums/threads.

That sucks. But on the bright side, the main wing looks fine.

lol. your about a month behind me fella.

i am putting the guts of mine in a scratch build. it will be a spitfire that they go into same sort of size, but less weight, so it should fly perfectly (i hope)

Well, converted mine to a Eflite P-15 motor and Extra 300 prop since I still had a now very hard to find two blade spinner. Flies as fast as my buddies Parkzone FW-190 with the gear up. I put the lousy wheels back on mine to fly off asphalt. So I had the disadvantage. With an orange 3axis stabilizer receiver the plane is a joy to fly in the small breeze we had today. I have it right now set up as a four channel so she is really light an seems to float forever on landings. Might have to throw a few flaps on, but not needed.
