Well Bro
As they say in NASCAR races are won and lost because of one $.20 bolt being loose.
But no damage and you walked away from it unhurt.

Well done,
Bill

+1.

I was very glad to see that the little gyro did EXACTLY what it was supposed to. It autorotated very nicely and settled to ground, shiney side up.

Thanks for not screwing the engine down hard, your vid kinda gives a new guy a bit more confidence. I am definately giving this one a try!

Rich,
Very nice flying mate, looking forward to some dog fighting

Chris,

Now that certainly was a different video! any damage to the motor?

Just to confirm to those who have PM'd me regarding the freebie plans I offered, the last one has now gone and will be posted out tomorrow.

Thanks for all your support, it's a cracking little model and I look forward to the builds and what you come up with If any one wants a pilot sketching up just let me know and I will have a go.

Rich

No damage to any of the model....motor bolted back in place...all OK . I think that is what you call an auto, autorotation.... as it just about landed it's self.

So here's an update on the latest Whippit progress, a little WW1 twist....

Nose looks a little square at the moment, until I can get some grills, radiators and exhausts.

Steve,
I like it mate, will get a suitable pilot drawn up!

Chris,
Yes, the photos were perfect. All the drawings, write up and photos are now with the magazine. I will confirm when I have a date for publication.

So,
I have a spare Whippit that is surplus to requirements, red one or yellow one that I am prepared to sell as a reciever ready model. I have totted up the cost of all the material parts from the foam to the paint and it owes me about 120 without my time.

If you are interested then PM me, I will wack one on Ebay or BMFA in the next few weeks.
