Question
Stork 2e - good thermal glider?

I've been offered a very well kept and well spec'ed Stork 2e by a fellow r/c flier. I've had a brief chance to look over the model and it looks in impeccable condition. It has a plettenberg inrunner w/ gearbox, hacker 120amp opto speedy, mks digitals throughout...

My question is, does anyone out there have any experience or stick time with one of these gliders? I've already got a couple of large 'floaters' and I'm interested in the stork 2e for slope flying and thermal flying on windy days when the floaters would just get blown around the sky...

Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated!

I've been flying various Stork 2, electric and glider, for 13 years. It's a very good allrounder. I still have one in Germany and one here, and I even use it to teach beginners. It's not a floater, it can go pretty fast too. I'd say it'll fit your bill of slope'n and flying on windy days. Photo below by Paul Naton.
