Djay, Eratix, On those 120 sized eflite retracts, I have some and broke the trunnion in one of them. Discovered that eflite does not sell spare parts. There is a guy on rcg that CNC's replacement trunnions for them that are much stronger and beefier. I just finished repairing mine. They were in a 14lb B-25 which I think was too much for the retracts. They are going in a lighter plane now. Electrically, they work fine with no troubles.

You can get away with using trailing edge of the wing shown in post #4 (first pic) as your hinge line.

Hi Edwin.

I have not had any problems yet with all my 120 size e-flite gears.

The main problem a lot of us have experienced is that on the tricycle gear, the red wire on the nose gear actuator comes detached after a couple of landings. Happened on my first flight of this plane and on other fliers planes as well, not isolated cases. A quick blob of solder and loads of silicon sealant secures the wire ok.
