Hello Dave!
no laser at all! Too dangerous... I built a 3D Printer and a lathe ...
But yes, the parts are all cut with the router!

Hi, I have done quite a lot of work in Rhino, but this is my first attempt at surface modelling in Solidworks. It has been a great learning experience so far, and I feel well prepared for the class I am taking next week. For those who wonder: it's a Saab J32B.

First attempt at modeling using MoI (Moment of Inspiration). It's a Blohm und Voss BV P.210 taken from Luft 46 website. Designed around a GP F86 30mm fan and electronics. Would like to build but not sure on how to print files that I need ... I'm still a 'newb' when it comes to files and their extensions and converting those files to paper.

For a first attempt it is for sure a pretty nice result! How about the details ( e.g. the wing to fuselage transition) - is it the final yet, or is it still in process? However - you are on the way....

Here are some of my older pieces...

Planes - most of them are skin models /Q/D and would have to be deatiled in case of a possible built - basing on the shown state..

That Dornier give me tears in my eyes every time I see it! I have mostly done conceptual cad work, and I can really value all the work that goes into making it a buildable kit. Please do a B&V 138 next time!

Hello guys - I'm back ...

Now... guess

- it is not drawn nor modelled, but it consists of lines and surfaces
- it is done in cad but is not a construction project
- it was a huge effort, spent on creation, but now it is rather none using it

Ok I'll tell ... it is a scripted "Rhino Wizzard" for creating complex geometry from parametersets.

Rhino Script _ Fan Blade Geometry Generator (2 min 4 sec)

Before you ask - I' m not able to publish this, as it is too close to my Job!

A good Linux user interface (by "good" I mean "NOT the Unity system in Ubuntu") will feel right at home for you.

Hi.
I am trying to find a set of scale drawings of the Lockheed C-2a Greyhound. Anybody has encountered any as I am unable to locate any on the net. Thanks for any help you may provide.
Thanks
Reuben

Hi Reuben.

Sorry, can't help with the 3-view. But try asking on the "3views for alot of planes" thread on the electric scratch build foamies section. Those fellas seem to have them all

HI Andy - started wit Natty Narwale / Ubuntu you warned me about, but wasn't able just to get it working in my network!

@ Reuben - not sure that you would be lucky but perhaps you give this one a trial...
