I was on about the 30th flight on her, maybe more. It was the first flight of that morning. I had just taken off and was headed downwind for a photo op. When the wing came off I was at half throttle coming out of about a 10 degree left bank turn. I had not even opened it up yet that day.

I was always gentle in the turns at full speed as you never know if the wing will hold up. Turns out it had an expiration date anyways...

I have the same setup in the new H9 P-47d and the H9 BF-109. They have held up awesome with tons of flights!

Power 90 w/ 8S on 17x12 APC prop

I am posting my Castle ESC for folks to review. I am very happy with this setup, and you can see the battery and prop are matched very well. I am running 8S 3600 mah for 7.5 min flights, and using a Mr RC Sound with two TT-25 speakers under the cowl for ballast.

The attachment is a doc file, and the Castle viewer will load it if you select *.* file types.

Rudder & Elevator Throw ?

If you go by the manual and use their servo arm setup, you have bugger all throw on your rud/elev.

I ended up using longer servo arms (they almost touch) to get the recommended throws.

Trouble is, it affects the alignment of the pushrods somewhat .

Did anyone else encounter this?

I may have to enlarge the servo cutouts so I can move the servos further apart.

Just be careful as they do have a terminal velocity. lol

I am building another as I really did love flying it!

Are those the stock wing screws on the bottom side of the wing under the scoop? Appears they are allen wrench heads? I am still trying to find out how to get my wings off as I cannot get this bird in my car.
