Astro Mini Challenger 035
Bought this kit years ago with the Astro 035 motor for ddrive..and started building last night.
However I think I have lost the folding prop that was included... Any ideas on what I should get to replace the prop for ddrive and folding???? Have checked HL site and they have the Freunhalder (?? spelling) but I am not sure if they will take the load/speed/watts..?? Any ideas..? |

I believe that's a 6x3 Graupner folder with the mini-Challenger. I bought one also many a year ago, and got around to finishing/flying it earlier this year, using a Speed 400 geared 3:1, 11x8 Graupner, 7x800 cells..
Vee-tail.. It's a very good performer. |

Thats great thanks for the info, we have a Graupnrer agent here in NZ and I will contact him for a prop.. Great photos too BTW, had the same idea on geared 400, may build another fuzelarge for that.... Thanks Laurie |

Be sure to get the 3.2 mm (1/8 shaft) setup. You might want to get a set of 7*3 blades too.

I like your conversion to Vee tail configuration. Did you increase area of the stab sections? If so by how miuch? I would like to try that myself but on a large Challenger. Thanks, BillM |
