Alot of the posts here are about the Electric version.
Is it better ?

I chose the nitro primaraly because i like the sound, and that i can just fuel it up after running it, instead of buying 4 or 5 batt pack to keep it running all day.

How powerfull is the nitro engine compared to electric ?
I would guess that you can get a brushless that can outperform the nitro engine?
But I bet it cost alot too. :-)

it depends,the electric isnt better-

most people go with electrics because nitro is noisy and messy
i prefer nitro's as they are more realistic and more fun to drive imo

the electrics are faster round a track, they are lighter so are more nimble
and you can make them stupidly fast with a brushless system and some lipos but as you said- yes they can be expensive!

id say you have made a good choice, i have a couple of electric bikes and a couple of nitro bikes aswell and if i have to take one out to use (unless its 10 oclock at night) its always a nitro one
the nitros are abit harder to drive and setup as you have the engine to tune where as the electrics are pretty much 'plug and play'

just do some research on this forum and you wont go far wrong

I'm nitro 100% only because i keep blowing up the batteries when i charge them.But if you have some experience with nitro motors you should do good with the nitro.

Hmm pulled up the video, and there was a So Cal RC Drift Video by Akura2 on the related vids side that was pretty cool. Couple of those guys were nailing that drift track.
