When can we see a mini tricopter?

When can we see on the market a mini tri?The equivalent of V929/939 in the shape of mini tricopter.
V911 with those small servos is a wonderful piece of technology.I think is possible and time for a mini-tri.
I''ll be interested in buying one.

The next coming close to this is the "Crab Mini Tricopter" from bambucopter.com
http://www.bambucopter.com/crab-mini-tricopter/

Specs:
Flying Weight: 96g (not including RX and battery)
Width: 220mm
Frame weight is 44gr.

But it isn't a RTF and not as cheap as the "toygrade" mini- and microcopters

I was talking about a mini/micro-tri, palm size ,with 3 coreless motors ,cheap, afordable.
Maybe manufacturers like WLtoys will make one.
We must admit that mini-tri is missing from having a complete fleet of mini.

I think making a mini V-tail would be easier for manufacturers to pull off.

Since a tri needs a servo for yaw unlike quads, it adds complexity. Combined with the higher popularity of quads and simpler design, the manufacturers are going after the bigger piece of the pie first. A mini tri would be pretty cool though.

It's not tri...... it is Y6.I'm talking mini tri with servo.A micro tri it will be wanderful ..the technology is here....see small servos on V911.It will be one step closer to mimic insects in the nature.
How about a micro bicopter?I'm thinking too far?It think somebody build a bicopter(but with 4 motors not 2) on a V929 platform.

Unfortunately, Chinese manufacturers such as Wei Li toys, Mei Jia Xin, and San Lian Huan do not frequent this forum, and would not be aware of your recommendations. To reach out to them effectively, you should post in Chinese RC forums.

The only problem I foresee is the micro sized controller and firmware.Building a micro tri is not so dificult. If I have the controller I build myself one.

A WLToys brushed micro Tri sounds really cool, I'd definitely buy one!
I think the manufacturers will have to go "unique" once the "Toy" market becomes super-saturated with quads in all the bigbox stores, and sales start to dwindle with everyones fingers in the pie... good for us tho!

As mentioned I think the V-tail will be easiest/cheapest for manufacturers to bring to market first, with no servos needed... it's a no-brainer!

Coincidentally my newly "test-assembled" with ressurected KK2 board on my Bluesky micro V-Tail, just happens to be my new favoritest Micro Quad!
A drop thru branches broke the Z-Axis Accelerometer on my orig. KK2 board I just flashed with new NOACC firmware... and it LIVES again to fly my V-Tail!!

Like you... I do want a micro-tri very much too.

Can anyone guess which aircraft "donated" the canopy? t'was scavenged from my very 1st!
V Tail 1st test flight (2 min 12 sec)

With such a flood of new quads, there is not much demand for a tri-copter. Looks like above clone of Y-6. For me if Walkrea doen't make it or WL toys I don't need it. I just retired seven TX's by using T9X and my Devo 7 TX's. Thats 42 AAA batteries that will not be replaced.
