Mine still says reserved. I.e. since Thursday. Everything was ordered while it all was still in stock... HobbyKing's lacking transparancy here. I need to know why it doesn't say the order's picked??

RNAF, yes, that is just rude... perhaps online customer support can check things out for you?

Gazza, just checked and mine has the same kind of details. It's still way better than RNAF's status on his order!

I will fly my Mig stock first up and get video and doppler of it's performance so I can compare any hop ups with the original performance.

My order for two of these jets and a few components is still "processing".
My order for one jet only has been "shipped" already.
Both was placed on 8/6/2011.

Hmm, I ordered on the 9th, and they're still showing "reserved", and the order "processing". I know it's only a couple of days, but I thought they were normally quicker than this, for just 2 jets and a handful of components...

Oh well, I can wait. I've got a motor to rewind here somewhere.

Anyone got an idea of the battery bay size? I think I'll be making a custom battery pack for this one, and need to know the size/shape. Wide/fat/short, or long/skinny?

Bajora flies with these: TP325-2SPP65J 325mAh 2-Cell/2S 7.4V 13mm x 24mm x 44mm (HxWxL)

I think build your pack, and then make it fit

Here's a short video of me flying my buddy's F86.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLUGyttQUH4

I flew it for one pack. That clip was towards the end of the pack.
4 mins of flying and each cell came to about 3.7v.

The elevator servo did not have much throw. I hope the 2.5g servos that I ordered fares better than the stock.

MT,
nah, mid power (100w) 30mm. Plan is AEO rotor, custom shroud and motor, on 4s 360's.
If that works well, it'll be replaced by my own fan system (rotor and shroud) as a flying test-bench. Hence I hope the fan drops out without major surgery!!

Guys, entire order is shipped!
Will report elaborately once the package has arrived

First time that I actually immediatly ordered a product that is as new as this. Usually I'm quite patient. Not this time: first micro EDF!

Been dreaming of this for so long.

Now, sit and wait
