Look nice Ray.. I'll have to come out to Baylands with my 64mm F5 and see what the extra 10 in your F15 does!

You will be amazed at how smooth the 12 blade fan is. You can hear the motor over the fan noise and it pushes so much air!! According to the tracking I should have to tonight or tomorrow... Can't wait and hope to have it in the air this weekend.

RC Castle hasn't been up as of lately. So I have been using Hobby Paradise which is the same company. But when I looked I see why. They re did the site. Hobby Paradise is good too. I ordered this week and it will be here tomorrow...

Also the jet is a 64mm FMS F-15 and it will have a single 12 blade fan with 2800kv running on 4s.

yeah for $36 ... :-)

I like the specs :-)
"Around 1080g At 14.8v (48A)"

but it is a little to much on 4s 2200 lipo ,
maybe 4s 2600 or 4s 2800 lipo woule be a better choice

this freewing single 64mm Super hornet would be another good jet for that fan
:-) better without that fixed landing gears though :-)

My friend has that exact plane with that fan. It is good for it but will be even better in the smaller F-15. You never use full throttle for long since the half throttle settings move so much air. I will be using a 4s 20-40c 2200mah pack. And it should be a rocket! it will weight about 700gramms with close to 1000grams of thrust...

The problem with small really fast planes are their size, they
are just a dot in the sky within a few seconds

Tried my F-8 with 4S again this week, it's AUW 470g and +700g peak
thrust ... it's almost difficult to get it down, had force it's nose down,
a bit tail heavy and thrust line may still pitch up slightly

I am never full throttle for more than a couple seconds. And if you get them right then you don't need to worry about any bad habits. The F-8 was my least favorite of all. I hated that plane!! Same goes for the Mirage, F-35 and Jas-39..... no likey!! But the L-39 with my new set up is amazing!! Aside from the fragile nose and wings which were fixed with Carbon Fiber it is a blast to fly when High Powered!! It is a dream when light as well.

I have 2. The oldest one is red with a Himax 4 blade microfan and 4100kv motor running on 4s 40c 1000mah packs. Light fast and fun. The second is much heavier but is meant to be a speed demon. XRP 11 blade fan with 4200kv motor runing on a 4s 30c 1600mah pack. It is a beast and even more fun to fly but it does fast better than slow speed...
