New Product
Future Model 48" Scale Sbach 342 EPP - kits are now available!!!!!

Hey guys,

Look at this beauty! It's a 48" scale Sbach 342 EPP plane with an airfoiled main wing, horizontal stabiliser and elevator. I contacted the manufacturer to obtain some information and I was provided with some specs as well as some photos and a video. 3 colour schemes are available at www.bestvaluerc.com:
- red/black http://www.bestvaluerc.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=381
- blue/black http://www.bestvaluerc.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=382
- orange/purple http://www.bestvaluerc.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=383

In addition to the 3 colour schemes, there are 2 different kit types offering a choice of landing gear type:
- kit with carbon fibre landing gear
- kit with wire landing gear

I was told that Future Model has been manufacturing EPP plane products for several years and the company is well-known in China. That gives me the confidence to try their Sbach, despite only knowing of their existence for a few days.

Nice! Looks like similar construction to the Skywing/Wattaplane Edge 540...

When these (or similar models like the 540) ship, does the motor cage come disassembled?

The motor cage comes assembled as shown in this photo http://static.rcgroups.net/forums/at...20IMG_6038.jpg but is not attached to the fuselage firewall when shipped in the box. To attach it you insert the tabs into the slots and CA it in place, ensuring that it is fitted flush on all sides to ensure the correct thrust angle.

At this stage, I am only aware of Future Model selling them from here http://wl-model.taobao.com/

Please note that the plane has not been released yet, so it won't immediately ship if you buy one now.

Yep, you did it right, I would expect the international shipping cost to be somewhere between $40 and $60; I'm just guessing at this stage based on typical costs of other products.

This sbach looks awesome, i have been waiting for a full fuse version to come out. Might have to get a red one.

I must say the carbon landing gear looks good, but for me i would prefer wire landing gear.
