To say it's crowded there is an understatement! Nice bunch of people, good times, and all that, but it wasn't worth the 12-hour drive to get 2 flights in per day with 5 other planes in the air- although I guess it's better than the ZERO flights I probably would have gotten here, LOL! I may be living in AZ soon, though, and if that is the case I will likely attend again.

I flew down from MN and shipped a plane. I got one flight on it and one on a Cub from Brian at Mountain Models. This was more about meeting people then flying my planes and it was worth it. I hope to make it down again but maybe bring a couple other planes that can handle a variety of conditions like winds from all directions.

I flew 3-4 times per day during the show. I could have flown much more if I had put forth the effort. But like Steve said, I was too busy pressing the flesh and shooting the bull to do a lot of flying.

And it was worth every minute!

Hey Randy,

How many days did it take you? Or perhaps How many hours of driving was it.

It's around 26 hours behind the wheel,

Took over 2 days to get there but comming home I left at 6:00 Sunday afternoon and when I hit the Texas line got some shut eye, up and on the road again by daybreak and made it home by Midnight Monday.

I definitely enjoyed meeting new people and would like to attend again if I am in AZ by then, but I think 2 days is enough for me, instead of 4.
