Whoops!
Phantom EDF to prop-jet

I have this F4 Phantom that was marginal at best on the stock fan..

So i committed this Atrocity

I looked at ways to convert to pusher but none could be done with-out spoiling the tail.. This way its easily converted to EDF when one day i can afford a decent fan/motor system

Maiden this weekend if weather holds...

I could be wrong, but I thought that a prop on the front would balance better, and was quieter and was easier to control. Its still a bad boy Phantom, besides you will not see the prop spinning when its flying.

I know! 4Stripes, no matter which angle i look at the Phantom i just cant find an angle that looks right (SORRY!)

The tail is just too pretty to spoil with a motor so it had to go on front. In flight the prop should disappear? and the balance is also perfect. Batt sitting nicely on the CG. I'm also hoping the propwash will make it more responsive...

I have a ChangeSun 11 blader that is doing duty on a very tired SQUALL so it may end up in the Phantom... if she survives long enuff!
