glad you like the pics demondriver, away on another train trip (dam work just gets in the way)
have 4 days off when i get home next week so am hopping to get some more work done.

Hope to get the tail surfaces finished and mounted, would like to have a go at making a mould for the nacelles rather than making 4 foam ones, would like to vacumn form them but might be easier to use glass, will have to think about that one.

Cheers Kev

Hi Guys, sorry no updates at the moment been spending way too time away driving trains across the country, but started 4 weeks of leave yesterday and had a huge 50 th birthday party in the back yard with lots of flying, drinking, eating and a massive bondfire.

Today I am trying to recover, so hopefully in the next 4 weeks I will manage to get some more work on the Globemaster.

Thanks for the keeping an eye on the build and keep the encouragement coming.

Cheers Kev.

Well been on holidays for 4 weeks an only managed a bit of work on the
Globemaster in the last few days of the hols.

I decided to mount the tail fin which is a 600mm tall by 400mm cord , I made the two spars long enough to run right through the fuz so I could use a ply plate top and bottom, well thats when I discovered that the spars were too short to go right through to the bottom (my bad)

The only way to solve the problem was to do a bit of key hole surgery so three holes later I was able to attach the lower ply plates on the inside of the fuz,
seems to work ok and will use bolts and captive nuts on thr ends of the spars to allow removal of the whole of the tail assembly if needed.

Cheers Kev.
