600watts Alpajet video
Hi
I just got a new video up. A Höllein Alphajet, MF480 Hacker B40 8L on 12x1300.... thrust weight ratio about 1:1 this was without reducing the outlet... when I made a tailcone with 50mm outlet, the speed was too much...the wings left in flight  but it was fun  /Henke |

Henke-Glad to see there is someone else out there having fun pushing it past the limit. Great video
Do you have any video of the flight with the wing failure? Love to see the how fast it was going with the reduced tailcone. Is it repairable? or are you going to try one mo time with a stiffer wing? I guess your going to have to go find a faster boat now too.  Gordon

Hi
I might build another one... styro wing... it was great fun! maybe 10x1700 and a hotter B40l...maybe 7 or 6! (I´m not afraid) AUW around 1kgyou see the whole flight on the video, nothing to see in the landing, not even a dot so I thought it was meaningless to spend 3mb on that... they seem to handle 50A good.... this is the same motor and cells as in "Storm delta" it was much faster with 50mm outlet!!! just accelerated to destruction! If you watch carefull in the video you can se the tail twisted some 15degree from the horisont when flying at full speed! /Henke |
