That's what I liked about the Omega 72. It handles up to 40A which is pretty impressive in that size motor. Some 100+g motors don't cope with that amount. I'm guessing other topend motors can also handle higher amps for their weight etc - like the scorpions etc. . I've only ever used Omega, Dualsky and a whole lot of Turnigys and RC timer motors. We can get Scrops and AXi over here, but you do pay extra, but over time, probably worth it for the right model to get that performance edge.

Mike, I'll try a 12x3.8 SF next

Maidened the sbach today. Smooth flying airplane. Only needed 1 click of up trim. Not impressed with the power but im sure that's just my motor and prop choice. Value hobby 74g 1100 with an 11x5.5E I have a suppo 78g 1000kv coming with the props mentioned in an earlier post.

Overall I love it. Recommend to anyone!

Yes, smooth flying is my take on it. I like that fact that due to this feel, you can KE very low and do moves without much fear as it tracks true

Yes the Savox digital servos really make this crisp, too crisp for me sometimes
After a slow start and sorting the lateral balance issues, I'm really liking this model now.
