Long range pusher plane design

I'm looking to go for the furthest range with an aircraft I build. The requirements are that it has to carry a go pro and it has to go far!

I was thinking a pusher plane like the one in the picture with a completely straight aero fuselage, the camera in front and the motor in back.
Any comments on this design? and also if you have a better long range plane please tell me!

Cool idea - to carry a GoPro you will need a good amount of lift and to go far, duration (Power/fuel) and a way to stay connected by radio frequency or to program a GPS or other flight guide system: Read about the record holder - and see what he did -

And if you fly it out of visual/line of sight range, you are seriously making a mistake and possibly endangering the hobby.

I have dragon link, G-osd, FY-30a flight stabilizer, and my flight system is some turnigy motor, probably 1000kv and a 3s 5000mah hour battery.

@ Tony
who are you to say that.

@ Tony never mind, just saw your profile. You look EXTREMELY experienced. I understand not to go out of visual range I'm even studying to get my HAM radio license if anything goes wrong.

Look in to a Horten fling wing. "RC dude" has a few that would work great..

This is actually a push-pull plane, not a pusher. (Dornier Do.335)
Have you looked through the FPV threads, or asked this question at FPV labs?
