Question
Naza lite and Sbus R3008SB

Hello guys, and ladies (if there is any )

I just get my new radio Futaba T10J with RX R3008SB.
So i try to connect this set to my Naza lite via Sbus, but its not working...

I have check the RX an set it in mode B (7ch + Sbus), connected it to the port X2 on Naza and port 8 on RX, then i went to settings on Naza software and select D-Bus connectivity. Nothing happened

I call Futaba support but it seems that there is only one guy who works for Futaba and he is constantly on the phone with another costumers...

Any way RX R3008SB and naza works perfectly on traditional mode.

DJI support confirms that naza lite can handle Sbus connectivity, but they was unable to troubleshot this problem...

Any help highly appreciated, thank you in advance!

When you change settings within naza assistant, they need to be written to the naza controller.
With the naza lite, if I remember correctly, it a button in the top left of the screen.

Sorry for the late reply, no unfortunately i'm stuck with this question and the same point where im started.
However i came to the store who sold me 10J controller, and the was unable to help me also.
we spend few hours trying to hook up transmitter with any other receiver, but was unable to do so.
I have a strong feeling that Sbus simply not working on Naza lite, and DJI tech support does not know about that...

yeah i too have a Naza Lite setup using Sbus but that is with an RS2008SB receiver....myself and the op are having issues with the new Futaba R3008SB receiver that comes included with the Futaba T10J transmitter

the R3008SB is capable of using regular Sbus as well as Sbus2...the Naza Lite can be used with Sbus but no matter what i try the Sbus port of the R3008SB will not work

what is strange though is that i have the Sbus cable plugged in and in addition i have channel 5 plugged in for my gimbal pitch control and channel 7 plugged in for the camera switcher (TBS Discovery pro...i would normally use channel 8 for the camera switcher but on the R3008SB channel 8 is for the regular Sbus)

the Sbus doesn't work and the camera switching doesn't work, but rather strangely the gimbal pitch control works perfectly

so the Naza Lite is most definitely capable of using Sbus which means that there must be an issue with the R3008SB receiver itself

Then there is only one way to find out, get another receiver that works with T10J and plug it in i guess.
I will try to find one in nearest future.

P.S. we have try to plug servo to channel 8 - Sbus and servo went crazy, so we assume that Sbus is working.

I took a look at the PDF online, are you sure it's not to do with the sbus programming within the tx?
Don't know how you'd go about it, but the t10j allows you to plug servos directly into the back of the tx , to assign channel numbers.
I'm wondering if it's some weird problem, with the naza not knowing what channels are assigned to what?

hi mate,

i had been wondering the same thing but can't really work out how i would go about it. when you go to that section in the tx it asks you to connect a servo to the back of the tx but I'm not sure what happens after that point yet as I've not read up on it in the manual (which i will take a closer look at now! lol)

i do recall the manual showing an actual servo being connected to the back of the tx though so I'm unsure of how that would translate to connecting it to the Naza Lite?
